There's nothing quite like the pain that comes from someone rejecting you. It cuts so deep.
It hurts so much. It can make your thoughts spiral out of control to the point you end up
questioning your very worth, value and dignity.
It is worse when you have no idea why the person pulled back or flat out turned their back.
I don't know what's going on in your life right now, but I wanted to jump on here end tell someone, it’s not about you. You didn't do anything wrong. It’s hard. It’s painful. It's confusing. It's unfair.
Stop obsessing over what you could have done differently. Stop scrolling through text messages.
Stop rehearsing conversations. Give it to God. Trust God. Their rejection of you does not define you. You are defined by the fact that you are ACCEPTED in the beloved. God is with you and for you.
Behold, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands; your walls are continually before me. (Isaiah 49:16)
